COVID-19 RESOURCES

As we face uncertain times it is extremely important that we come together as a community to help one another get through this crisis. Now more than ever, we need to put human lives above profit! Our economic system and our government have failed us and have neglected to provide the poor and working people the necessary resources to survive. This pandemic has only brought the harsh realities of our country’s problems to light. While the wealthy are privileged to wait out the crisis, working people are laboring in essential fields and have no other option than to go to work. People are set to be thrown out of their homes, are trapped in crowded ICE facilities, facing homelessness, or are facing inhumane treatment in prisons. Unexpected closures have made it challenging for people to get access to food, essential medication, and other resources. This page was created to provide access to resources to people in Council District 7 and NYC.

We are powerful when we come together as a community and stand in solidarity among workers, knowing that people are over profits!
